We are very excited about the way we teach and the way our children learn. We use the Primary National Curriculum as a springboard to our own curriculum and at its relatively early stage of development we are thinking of new ways of enhancing this through different themes and contexts in the near future. Our curriculum policy outlines our exciting aims and can be found below. Please also have a look at our Curriculum overview as well as our more detailed curriculum document.

Early Years Curriculum

As mentioned, every subject follows the National Curriculum but we've a more thorough and progressive set of knowledge and skills that we want children to acquire as they move through our school...

Knowledge and Skills Progressions

We use the Sports Hub Passport for skills progressions in PE.

To take a little look at what goes on in our classes, please see our class pages under the 'Children' tab. Our Subject Leaders have put a lot of thought in to their vision and aims for every subject in the curriculum and work hard to monitor what is going on and how we can keep on improving our children's learning experiences.

Further information on each of these subjects can be found above.

We follow Trafford's agreed R.E. syllabus.

We follow Letters and Sounds to help teach our children phonics and early reading and Bug Club helps us out!
